This is the ultimate rugged wood case. It starts with a 2mm thick ash wood back – ash is known for its exceptional impact resistance and straight, pronounced grain. The wood is then bonded to a dual-layer structure: a hard polycarbonate inner frame for rigidity and a soft TPU outer bumper for shock absorption. The four corners have raised shock absorbers that meet MIL-STD-810G drop test standards (drops from 1.2 meters onto concrete). The wood surface is coated with a UV-resistant ceramic layer that prevents yellowing and adds scratch resistance, so the case still looks good after months on a construction site or hiking trail. Unique to this model, the charging port and silent switch are covered by flexible dust flaps that keep out sand, sawdust, and lint. The flaps are tethered so they won’t get lost. There are two built-in lanyard holes at the bottom corners – attach a wrist strap or shoulder lanyard for extra security. The side grips feature aggressive texturing to prevent slipping when hands are sweaty or greasy. The raised edges (1.2mm above screen, 1.0mm above camera) provide excellent drop protection. Despite the heavy-duty construction, the case still supports wireless charging – though we recommend using a higher-power charger (15W or more) due to the extra thickness.
