Acacia wood is known for its stunning golden-brown to amber color with dark, dramatic streaks. It’s the same wood used for high-end cutting boards and butcher blocks because it’s extremely hard, water-resistant, and durable. This case uses sustainably sourced acacia from Southeast Asia, where the trees grow quickly and produce beautiful figured wood. The wood is treated with a food-safe mineral oil and beeswax blend (the same finish used on cutting boards) that penetrates deep and repels water. Hidden inside is a ring of 16 magnets for MagSafe compatibility. The TPU bumper is flexible but offers drop protection up to 1.5 meters. The bumper has a subtle wood-grain texture to match the back. The screen lip is raised 0.8mm, camera lip 0.7mm. The back has a smooth but grippy finish – it feels like a well-oiled cutting board. Acacia is so hard that it won’t easily scratch or dent. Over time, the oil finish may dry out; you can replenish it with a drop of mineral oil (instructions included). The case supports full-speed wireless charging. It weighs 23 grams. The color ranges from honey-gold to dark amber, with streaks of dark brown or almost black. Each case has unique grain – some have straight lines, others have swirling patterns.
